2017 - 2021
In the beginning of 2017 "Najda Now" in cooperation with
"Foundation De France" started the preparation of a puppet theatre
workshop, then launched a call for children who want to
participate. 14 children aged between 8 and 14 were chosen to be
part of "One Hand Puppet" theatre group.
The workshop covered fundamental topics: Storyline composition and
character building - Developing the imagination - Puppet making -
Voice exercises - Harmonic performing exercises - Puppet control
exercises - Interactive improvising.
After the workshop, which was supervised by specialized trainers,
the members of the group were able to perform directly to the
public, also they made puppets using simple materials like socks
that help to create the character, in addition to some large and
more complicated puppet to use in the Direct performances.
The troupe then launched a public performance tour that covered
numerous schools, camps, and cultural spaces both inside and
outside Beirut. The troupe performed several shows with different
themes, most of which were stories imagined and created by the
children themselves.
In addition, the troupe members taught the audiences in the host
locations how to make and animate simple puppets through workshops
held before or after each performance.
مع بداية سنة 2017 بدأت مؤسسة نجدة ناو في مخيم شاتيلا وبدعم من
فرانس فاونديشن بالتجهيز لورشة مسرح الدمى وتم الإعلان عن الورشة لمن
يرغب في المشاركة من الأطفال. تم اختيار 14 طفل وطفلة بأعمار تتراوح
بين 8 ل 14 عامًا من المتقدمين وتشكيل فرقة " إيد وحدة " لمسرح
الدمى.
غطت الورشة مجموعة من العناوين الرئيسية: بناء الحكاية - تحفيز
الخيال - صناعة الدمى - تمارين خاصة بالصوت - تمارين خاصة بتناسق
الاداء - تمارين تحريك الدمى - الارتجال التفاعلي المسرحي. وبعد
إنتهاء الورشة التي أشرف عليها مدربون مختصون أصبح أعضاء الفرقة
قادرين الأداء بشكل مباشر أمام الجمهور، وقاموا بصناعة دمى باستخدام
مواد بسيطة مثل الجوارب التي تساعد في خلق شخصيات الدمى، كما قاموا
بتصنيع دمى كبيرة أكثر تعقيدا من أجل توظيفها في العروض.
لاحقا بدأت الفرقة جولة العروض للجمهور والتي غطت العديد من المدارس،
المخيمات والأماكن ذات الطابع الثقافي داخل وخارج بيروت حيث أدت
الفرقة عددا من العروض بمضامين مختلفة كانت معظمها قصص للأطفال
أنفسهم ومن نسج خيالهم.
إضافة إلى ذلك قام أعضاء فرقة إيد وحدة بتعليم أطفال الأماكن المضيفة
للعروض تقنيات صناعة الدمى البسيطة وكيفية إستخدامها من خلال ورشات
عمل تسبق أو تلي كل عرض.

Puppet Autoportrait - دمى أوتوبورتريه
2018
On the surface, the performance appears to be a collection of
puppet autoportraits. However, in reality, they are nothing
but the lived stories and personal narratives of the
puppeteers themselves. The puppets are used as a veil,
allowing the puppeteers to speak more boldly and courageously
about the details of their experiences of the joys, sorrows
and struggles they have endured. On another level, the play
also reveals how these puppeteers are, in fact, puppets in the
hands of fate.
ظاهر العرض هو مجموعة من السير الذاتية للدمى و لكن في حقيقة
الأمر ما هي إلا سير ذاتية و قصص معاشة لمحركي الدمى، حيث
استخدمت الدمى كغطاء تجعل المحركين أكثر جرأة و شجاعة لكي
يبوحوا بتفاصيل تجاربهم و ما تتضمنه هذه التجارب من أفراح و
أحزان و معاناة، من جهة أخرى يظهر العرض كيف أن هؤلاء المحركين
في الحقيقة أيضا دمى بيد أقدارهم.
The Other I - الأنا الأخرى
2019
An installation and a puppet performance featuring "The Other
I" in its manifestations. The performance focuses on the
visual aspect to reflect the engraved images and lived moments
of the Syrians and the individuals whom dignity and will were
deprived. It highlights through it is testimony-ation the
stripping down of the human soul and its values during the
struggle of survival. A cross imaginary world that seek to
re-narrate true human stories, without language.

معرض تركيبي يتخلله عرض أداء مسرحي باستخدام الدمى في محاولة
لمحاكاة "الأنا الأخرى". يركز العرض على الجانب البصري بشكل
رئيسي لتجسيد صور مرّ بها السوريون ولحظات عاشها أفراد سلبوا
إرادتهم وكرامتهم. تشكّل في إحدى تجلیاتها تعریة للنفس
الإنسانیة وقیمها بخضم الصراع على البقاء. عبر عوالم متخيلة
يسعى عرض الأنا الأخرى إلى سرد حكايا واقعية لبشر يعيشون
بيننا، بدون لغة.

Theatre puppet show for children and adults The performance
highlights the impact of technological and technical
development on social relations, on the communications habits,
and on the establishment of new social and communications
habits inspired by the technology. How it significantly
reduces the direct communication between people, yet opens a
wide range of indirect communication between humans across the
planet
عرض مسرحي باستخدام الدمى للأطفال والكبار يحاول العرض تسليط
الضوء على تأثير التطور التكنولوجي والتقني على العلاقات
الاجتماعية والتواصل بين الناس وما يرافقه من نشوء انماط سلوك
اجتماعية جديدة تحد وبشكل كبير من التواصل المباشر بين الناس
من جهة وتفتح مدى واسع للتواصل الا مباشر بين البشر على امتداد
كوكبنا من جهة اخرى.
